FunTravelMapTerms of Service
1. What this is
FunTravelMap puts photos from your own Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive onto a map, and lets you share some of them with other people. By default you keep your photos in your own cloud and we provide the map. If you choose FunTravelMap Storage, we hold copies of the photos you put there for as long as you keep them there.
2. Your account
You sign in with a Google or Microsoft account and are responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough in your country to agree to this.
3. Your photos are yours
You keep every right you already have in your photos. We claim no ownership. You grant us only the narrow, revocable permission needed to display them to you and to anyone you deliberately share a map with, and — if you use FunTravelMap Storage or the copy tool — to store the copies you asked for. Disconnecting ends your session with us; the permission on your Google or Microsoft account is yours to revoke from that account's settings, and deleting a photo from FunTravelMap Storage deletes our copies.
4. What you publish
You are responsible for what you make public. Do not publish photos you do not have the right to publish, photos of people who have not agreed to it, or anything unlawful. Remember that a photo's coordinates disclose where it was taken.
We may remove a published map or suspend an account that is being used for illegal content, harassment, or to impersonate someone. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why.
5. Usernames
A username is yours while your account is active. We may reclaim names that impersonate someone, infringe a trademark, or are used to abuse other people.
6. Free and Pro
The free tier shows ads on public maps, a small funtravelmap.com watermark on your photos, and 250 MB of FunTravelMap Storage. Pro removes the ads and watermark, adds location blurring and raises storage to 25 GB. One licence key activates one account. Pro is billed through Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record; their terms cover the transaction itself. If a Pro subscription ends, your map and your stored photos stay; only the Pro extras step back, and storage above the free limit becomes read-only until you free space or renew.
You can cancel a subscription at any time through Lemon Squeezy's customer portal (linked from your receipt) and keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for. If something goes wrong on our side, email us — we would rather refund you than argue.
7. Things outside our control
The service depends on Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Cloudflare, CARTO and OpenStreetMap data. If Google changes what it allows, or is blocked in your country, parts of FunTravelMap may stop working. We will tell you what we know, but we cannot promise access to services we do not run.
Some links on the map lead to travel booking partners, and we may earn a commission if you book through one. We are not the seller, we are not party to your booking, and the partner’s own terms, prices, cancellation rules and refunds govern it. We do not set prices and cannot change, cancel or refund a booking made on someone else’s site — take those up with them directly.
8. No warranty
FunTravelMap is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. It is not a backup service — that includes FunTravelMap Storage. Keep your own copies of your photos.
9. Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to FunTravelMap is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost photos, lost profits, or indirect damages.
10. Changes and ending
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. You may stop using FunTravelMap at any time by disconnecting, deleting the FunTravelMap folder from your Drive or OneDrive, and — if you used it — asking us to delete your FunTravelMap Storage.
